I've seen a great deal of the world, and it is magnificent. You learn to connect with people, and understand that your problems are superficial when it comes to the complexities of the lives of others. Also, travelling does a great deal for those who wish to develop an essence of wisdom, such as myself, an understanding and acceptance of the ways of the universe. I remember once, while travelling to Vietnam, sitting on the bow of a small boat, on which there were very few people, and gliding through the mist of Halom Bay, only to pass through a sheet of fog and behold the glory of these waterborne mountains.
